Citrus Basil Vinaigrette

A bright, herby dressing made with freshly squeezed orange juice, garlic and fresh basil. Delicious on salads, roasted and grilled fish, chicken and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • cup olive oil
  • cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 medium clove garlic, peeled and smashed
  • 2 tsp honey
  • ½ tsp Kosher salt

Instructions

  • Add the olive oil, orange juice, basil, garlic, honey, and salt to a blender or a tall container if using an immersion blender. Blend until fully combined and emulsified, about 20 to 30 seconds, until the dressing is smooth and lightly thickened.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding another pinch of salt or a small drizzle of honey to balance.
