Tonics, elixirs and calming blends

The Everyday Botanical

Why I made these recipes

There was a time when starting my day with caffeine and gut-disturbing ingredients left me feeling more scattered than supported. Mornings felt rushed and reactive, and I often carried that unsettled feeling with me well into the day.

Things began to shift when I started choosing my first cup more intentionally. It was a small change, but it mattered. My energy felt steadier. My food choices felt clearer. The day simply felt more manageable.

At first, these blends were small experiments in my kitchen, part curiosity and part necessity. Over time, I realized I had only scratched the surface. There are endless fun and delicious ways to work with botanicals to feel supportive, celebratory, satisfying, and never feel like you’re missing out. And that’s exactly what you’ll find in this collection of warm mugs, iced teas, and mocktails.

It all starts with my morning must-have

the Meyer lemon & Ginger drop

Blended whole lemons, raw honey, fresh ginger and turmeric root, fresh oregano, and a touch of Himalayan salt are transformed into a bright, grounding concentrate and frozen into cubes that are ready to drop into a mug of hot water or bone broth each morning.

It’s deeply hydrating and gently anti-inflammatory. It’s the kind of simple ritual that feels small but changes the tone of your entire day.

Batch a few blends ahead. Keep them in the freezer or fridge, then enjoy having something good waiting for you. Something you’ll reach for because it tastes great, feels good, and fits easily into your day.

“I had no idea making something like ginger ale at home could be this easy, or this good. The Thyme & Ginger tonic is honestly so refreshing, and it makes me feel like I’m doing something really nice for myself. I’ve already made it twice. Thank you.”
